The Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve allows the appliance to fill with water and complete the cleaning cycle. If your dishwasher won't fill properly or overflows and leaks water on the floor, then the water valve may be restricted or damaged and will need replacement. Note that if the dishwasher is underfilling, it will most likely exhibit poor wash performance. This 7-watt, 120-volt coil, 3/8" brass inlet water valve includes the mounting bracket.
